G2 Esports headline the 2019 Six Major set for Raleigh

Ubisoft has revealed that the second annual Six Major will be held in Raleigh, North Carolina. The list of qualified teams guarantees fans an eye-melting showdown featuring the top squads in the world.
Qualifying teams include the 2019 Six Invitational champions, G2 Esports, as well as the top lineups from season nine. There are a total four open qualifier spots up for grabs—one from each division of the R6 Pro League.
The remaining three spots in the 2019 Six Major will go to the winners of the Allied Esports Vegas Minor, DreamHack Valencia, and one host country invitee, according to Ubisoft. Teams will be battling for their chunk of the $500,000 prize pool, with the champions receiving $200,000.

Attendees can choose to purchase a General Pass that includes an in-game charm and admission for $65, or a Premium Pass that grants access to premium seating, a chibi, and an exclusive swag bag on top of the General Pass offerings for $125.
The Six Major will be held at the Raleigh Convention Center from Aug. 12 to 18, but the group stage of the Six Major is closed to the public from Aug. 12 to 14. Tickets are available for purchase through Ticketmaster.
